my TBI upgrade path
i'm putting together a 350 TBI setup for a fullsize chevy. figured ask your suggestions on my buildup:
let me know if i should choose a different cam or not, motor won't see the high side of 5,000 RPMs ever while towing or 4x4ing.
Summit K1102 Cam/lifters 204/214@.050 or use crane 2030 or similar?
Edelbrock 3704 intake---although could i use a performer RPM and an adapter plate to save $$?
Crane 99848 springs
Long tube headers, y-pipe 3" single exhaust with high flow cat and 40 series flowmaster
Vortec heads or ported 083 TPI 350 heads
Wait4Me tune or from TBIchips.com for the computer
I will also be removing the ridge off the TBI and adding an injector spacer as well.

That 204/214 cam should be a good choice, you can make some solid power with that. I would definitely say to go with an RPM intake with an adapter, especially since clearance wouldn't be a problem I'm sure in a fullsize. What injectors are you running, are they stock 350 truck injectors? Make sure you have a good fuel pump that will hold at least 15psi under load without dropping at all.
I would also say for the manifold, get a Performer RPM over the RPM Air Gap. You're going to want more plenum heat there, my opinion. I've heard of throttle blades icing with air gap intakes. You might even consider a single plane intake, they seem to make the most power in TBI apps.
You'll never see full power potential unless you burn the PROM yourself, the mail order will get it going but not to its full potential. There are some local guys that know their stuff, I'm about 15 minutes from you and obviously Jeremy knows his stuff in prom tuning.
