i did search and didnt find anything like this. i just kinda found it through one of the links on the home page and just wondering if it would just work like ram air?

the backside of the filter is open, right?....looks like that setup would give better performace as the car gets moving...

heres the deal dude, on an open element setup pulling the open element peice all together is only worth around 1 hp, usually no more.

Ram air does sorta work but, when do you usually go 100mph+ to see any real effect (around 10hp maybe).

Basically what i'm saying is get you a cheapy summit open element that's nice and shiny and easy to work around and call it a day, just my opinion.
