How do 601 heads stack up?

Well I heard that 601 heads flow pretty good and have 53cc chambers so it will really bump up compression. How would these heads do running on a TBI motor? Also these heads wouldnt bolt up to the edelbrock performer TBI intake would they?

The ones I have are pretty clean castings compared to other stock heads I've messed with. They also seem to have one of the smoothest pushrod pinches I've seen. They'll do ya good, but I kinda doubt the 53cc's that mortec.com claims. Their probably more like the normal 58cc's.

with porting very decent, check out sitting bulls post or any of the other numerous posts 416s are pretty close to those from what i'v heard seen and owned.

I beleive sitting bull posted flow #s of 220/160 and there was more to be gained if you spent a little more time imo.

well i think stock you had 9.3 or so with 58cc heads so if i had to guess i'd say about 9.8 but, i'd use the homepage calculator and double check that yours is 9.3
