What does this have to do with anything? It is easy to double post and he doesn't have 6 posts. There is no need for a ban guys. Give the guy a break.

To the origonal question. What do you mean by tunes and scoops? A 3rd gen dual snorkel set-up (from an L69) can be used on your TBI motor.

the question is will the dual snorkel that came on the 70s or 80s cant remember which years model of the corvette will that fit on our tbi units and clear the hood. Because then my idea was to get our intake tubes that go to the unit itself and the scoops that screw down in front and after that all it would be cheaper to buy since the corvette intake looks similar and is cheaper

I really didn't mean it. I just always saw that smily and had an itchy trigger finger to use it. Sorry for coming off harsh, it was supposed to be more of a joke.

Viper, I see those early vetter intakes on ebay alot and I also wondered if they fit. I've never worked with them so I can't help too much. I will let you know the AIR system (in its stock location) will not allow dual snorkels to fit.

Actually, I've wondered about that myself. If it does, It would be really easy to use one on a Firebird with a Power Bulge hood and make the cowl induction truly functional, much better than the early functional cowl units.

They're also much more plentiful than the 305 HO air cleaners that fit our cars.

Has anyone tried one of these air cleaners?
