TBI spacer with a T-5
Would it still be as much of a hassel to put on a TBI spacer even though I have a T-5 and do not have all the auto trans linkages? Any help would be appriciated guys.

It is still a hassel. I run a 1/2" spacer with my T5 and I still had to "tweak" fuel and throttle lines. You can make it work just fine but it isn't worth the money. At the time that same $60 could have netted me an LT1 cam.

Well a spacer is good in theory in that you want to increase your plenum volume as much as possible. However, these cars have so many bottnecks and weak links that a slight increase in plenum volume is negligable (especially given the cost).

You'd be much better off starting off with something else like headers/exhaust or gears/posi. I have the Holley TBI intake which has the same effect as a spacer raising up the throttle body and it takes a little tweaking like shifty said. I wouldn't bother with the spacer, later on down the line just get a new manifold. Thread
