My Throttle Body doesn't have an air box...The air cleaner sits on top of the tbi!

With a 200,000 mile TBI in my car, could it handle a 75 shot?

Im not gonna say yes or NO because its hard to say without tearing down the engine or atleast checking the compression but probably not.

Unless you've driven those the majority of those 200k miles, I would be hesistant to juice it.

can a dry kit be used or does it have to be a wet kit?

Wet is the smart way to go.

lol it was beat I think before me, but if the compression was decent, could it maybe handle the 50 shot at least?

It COULD,but not likely that it will.Nitrous on a stone stock, cast piston, low performance engine is dicey at best, but add 200,000 miles of wear, tear, and abuse to one and add nitrous to that.Sounds like a recipe for disaster.
If you are prepared to replace the engine on short notice,do it,and let us know how it turns out.Better yet, have a video camera and film it,if it's pure carnage I wanna watch!
Another option for goofy gas on a TBI is a kit made by NOS,that incorporates the silinoids and squirters into a 14 " chrome open air cleaner.

Do not use a dry kit, you will definitely ruin your engine. Since there isnt a sensor that detects how much air flow is coming into the engine (like a Mass Air Flow) then the TBI engine doesnt have anyway of knowing to add more fuel to help compensate for the extra oxygen that the nitrous adds. So when you get a wet system, the nitrous plate that mounts under the throttle body adds a equal amount of nitrous and extra fuel, to make it a decent mixture. All the nitrous does is introduce more and colder oxygen, since nitrous is rich in oxygen and very cold that is the perfect way to get a freezing cold oxygen rich induction. Very smart whoever thought of shooting nitrous into an engine!

Also do not shoot the nitrous below 2000-2500 RPMS, its too much for the engine, even a fresh built motor, just some thoughts!
