Now for motor work

Hey everyone i have a 92 25th anni that i am restoring and it has a v8 305 tbi in it. Now the motor is pratically new with only 50,000 miles on it and its stock never rebuilt. I want to do some work to it like bigger injectors, bigger throttle body with spacer, mid range cam and lifters, change timing belt to a chain, a new intake manifold, and i have some 1.6 lifter roller rockers that i would like to put on the car with springs if needed. But i want to do all this without a lot of lower end work. Also looking to get a K&N exstream assambly for the car.

Now is all this worth it for now. I already have a full exhaust with a cutout on it and a jet chip and a 9-bolt posi rear which i am looking for 3.73 gears for it and a rebuild kit for it like shims and stuff. If anyone has any of this stuff or knows were i can purchase it please let me know and if anyone has any other suggestions i am open to listen to all of them.

First a SBC is already timing chain equiped, NO belt. The throttle body and intake are not holding you back to the least degree. The K&N Extreme has been proven to not give much of a gain on a stock hood thirdgen. A regular open element will do the same job, due to hood clearance the Extreme will not benifit you. The same goes for the TBI spacer, hood clearance is the issue. I like the 1" thick open center spacer as it helps engine breathing. What do you call a mid-range cam? That is a very loose term. You need to find one and post back specs. Keep in mind with the speed density nature of a TBI setup, you NEED CHIP TUNING to run a hotter cam. I have put 1.6:1 roller rockers on a 350 TBI truck and seen gains of 12 RWHP and 8 RWTQ with the stock cam and a full exhaust.
