Question on tech article
The article here is confusing to me. In the middle of the page he writes, "My voltage was reading 4.39VDC", below that is written, " Once you get the proper setting (0.540VDC +/- 0.075VDC or 0.465VDC to 0.615VDC for MAF equipped car" and then at the end he writes, "Because my previous voltage was over 0.100VDC off". If his inital reading was 4.39 and his target voltage was .540, whouldn't that mean that his previous voltage was off by 3.85 volts and not .100 volts as he writes at the bottom? The reason that I am asking is because the voltage at my TPS is also around 4.39 and I want to know if I should adjust it 3.85 or .1.
Thanks,
Steve

Wiggle it around. I tried back-probing the connector with a paper-clip and my readings were all over the place, also make sure you're reading off of the black and blue wires, the grey one doesn't really matter for this (at least it didnt on my rig.)
If wiggling doesn't do the trick, use a straight-pin through the wire itself, that'll ensure you're getting a positive connection.
Hope that helps.

at idle the TPS reading should be in the neighborhood of .54v, at WOT the reading should be above 4.0v
