Wont stay running
I just got the car re registered for CT from Florida. It sat for about a year with intermittent periods where i'd take it for a ride. I took it out earlier this week, and it ran fine except the battery was dead so i jumped it. Took it for a couple of blasts up the road. It ran out of gas a little while later idling in my driveway. I Put a half tank in it, it started running like ****. I put two bottles of dry gas thinking there would be moisture in the tank, that didnt help. I filled the tank up the rest of the way today with shell v-power and two more bottles of dry gas. It still runs like ****. It turns on revs to 1500 drops down and almost dies, sometimes it does die. It just keeps doing this, there ar no ses lights so i dont think a sensor for anything is bad. Any ideas?

I'm talking pressure from the pump. There should be a port in the fuel line next to the fenderwell on the drivers side if you have an Lo3. You'll need a fifty $ fuel pressure tester or a good friend that has one. Should be 9 to 13 lbs pressure. Less than 9 you need to change the filter. If that doesn't help, a new fuel pump will be in order.
