I want to get an aftermake dual plane intake manifold. I have a 1991 350 TBI. What can I put on there or what would you suggest that is emission legal with EGR setup and all that. It has to pass emissions.
edelbrock makes a stock replacement unit. holley makes one for a 2.00 inch TB unit. some bore the edelbrock to accomodate the 2.00 inchers.

Do you have anyclue on what kind of performance either of these would give me, or which wouldbe better? Ya, I want somthing that will just bolt right on without hardly if any mofifications. ThanksOriginally Posted by Ronny

How hard is it to make the linkage mod, does it tell you how or do you just have to use common sense?Originally Posted by Ronny

i used the edelbrock 2704 (it think thats the number) non EGR all i needed whas the TBI mounting adapter 50 dollars plus shipping. and the linkage stays the same ... tho it feels a little stiffer but it might be that i havent driven the car in about 3 months
Ya, my only problem is emissions. I have to have an EGR hookup otherwise I wont be driving the car in 2 years unless I switch back to stock, but that would be a pain in the *** to do every 2 years. I am jsut wondering what all I could put on my car that has the EGR hookup.

The Holley Projection intake would be best for you. It will need linkage "tweaks" . a 1" TBI spacer, and an EGR valve meant for an older carbed 350 chevy.Originally Posted by XxGeinNothingxX

Will that still give a good result in the emission testing. I have a 350 swap, but I still have to pass a 305 because that is what my car is origianlly. Originally Posted by Fast355

As long as the chip is RIGHT there will be NO noticeable difference in the tail-pipe output of a 305 or 350. The 305 makes a little less C0 and HC.Originally Posted by XxGeinNothingxX

Alright, thanks, I will look into that Holley
