Installing new seals, rockers, and springs
Well today I just got all the parts I will need to do this. Can I just use the positive seals from felpro on both the intake and exhaust valves? Also with my engine having 176,000 miles on it how well will it improve with with my comp 981 springs and my 1.6 roller rockers? Thnaks guys.

It's not uncommon for people to put positive seals on the exhaust. However, the exhaust valves get hotter than the intake valves, so if you use positive seals on the exhaust it's best to use Viton rather than nitrile rubber because Viton stands up to the heat better. Also, positive seals will mean less oil will leak down to lubricate the valve shaft/guide. If you have brass valve guides then it shouldn't matter, but if you have stock guides you might want to check around and see if oiling will be an issue. I used positive Viton seals on both intake and exhaust, but I have brass valve guides which require less oiling. I know people use positive valve guides on the exhaust without inserting brass guides, but I'd be a little concerned about the effects of less valve stem/guide lubrication over the long term.
I know I didn't definitively answer your question, but those are the things to look out for. Try over on the tech / engine board and see what they have to say about the lubrication issue if you have stock guides. If you find out, let me know ...I'd be interested to know myself.
If your rings are sealing good then the mileage won't affect how your engine responds to the springs and rockers ...you should get a few lbs of torque and horsepower, and extend your useful rpm range a little.
