400 tbi

I am thinking of getting a 400 sbc and using tbi. I want to put in a roller cam,1.6 rocker arms, gappless rings, and spend the money on this engine.what kind of realistict goals for the cash? I am talking about milage and power. Possible to get 20ish on milage and 350-400 hp with TBI and a chip?

Is that possible? 20 mpg and 350-400 hp. Im not sure if it is with a TBI, i get like 13-14 with my 350 TBI and a self tuned chip.

well its traditionally said, "more power needs more fuel" so if your looking for more horsepower your probably going to use more fuel. You might be able tune a chip and lean the engine out real far, but to get the gas mileage you want you might be leaning it to unhealthy ranges.

gearing will be in the future.I am looking to build a small block 400 within a 3500-4500 price range, granted that the block will pass a sonic test.
