I'm interested in pickin up an 88 IROC from a post I saw on here. The guy has it listed as having a 305 TBI and I may be wrong and believe me usually I am but I thought that after 87 IROCs only came with TPI? If someone could just help me out and let me know if the TBI was available with an 88 IROC or if the motors been replaced I'd appreciate it. THanks alot

The base engine in the Iroc was the 305 TBI so yeah its factory

 

I have a '89 IROC that came with TBI as stock

Call me crazy but I thought the hole point in getting a Iroc was that it had the more hp engine;thuse TPI.

not to the bean counters.. they knew most people thought teh whole point of an iroc was the cool door decal, and wheels.. but somewhere along the line they figured theyd be honest and throw in the suspension too
