NewYorker, did you get problem solved?

Hi,

Just checking if you got your problem with the injector size(s) solved. I am still looking for the 65pph injectors and I thought my 55pph would be better for your car. We could swap? Please reply and you will not hurt my feelings if you do not want to. Just trying to help you and get help for myself at the same time.

FYI, if you want to try the swap, I will pay your and my shipping charges and BOTH return shipping charges if you are unhappy in any way w/my injectors. You have nothing to lose, on my word...

Oh, BETTER, yet: I'll send you mine first so that you don't have downtime on your car and you won't have to ship me yours unless you are happy w/mine, first. NOTHING to lose for sure, that way!!!

Hey again.... as for the injector problem, I am going to take out the 65lb injectors but i am not going to give them away even though you have been trying to get me to. lol.

I have my old injectors which I am going to put in there until I have the right prom to run the 65's and then back in they go.... sorry.. they are brand new and I dont want to get rid of them for the 305 injectors... I'll need them once the chip is in place.

I don't have 305 injectors, i have 350 truck injectors which are 22% more flow than your old 305 injectors. I guess I don't know why you are going to use 65 injectors if yor motor could never use the fuel they can deliver??? Yeah, the 65's are better than the 45's you took out (becasue the 45's are just too small) but 65's overkill and will require a "detuned" PROM just get them to work. ie If you used my (55) injectors, your existing PROM would be very close to what you need already and need much less tweaking (ask TRAXION, the PROM burning Moderator). Plus the 55's are just right for your motor. am I missing something? I'll even swap AND pay you some money... Please just ask around about the things Imentioned. I know I'm not the only one who agrees that the 65's are too big for you (and the 55's are just right), as eluded to in your previous post(s).

Thanks in advance for replying and taking the time to discuss this. Have a nice weekend...

I can always purchase them new but I know I could swap (for free or reasonable price) with someone who can use them. Otherwise, they will rust and be no good to me. How much can you get new ones for? They are $129 EACH around here...

The 55's I have (as well as the TBI unit) are out of a 91 CK pickup with 28,000 miles on it.

Yeah, they were pretty much that price.... I was talking to a friend who is going to burn me the right prom for my car and the injectors that are in there now are going to work perfectly... so, I'm really sorry but I'm not going to swap them. They were too expensive for me to swap them for smaller ones and once I found out that I can use them and someone is nice enough to get me the right ecm to make the car run right, then Its worth the wait.

I hope you find what you are looking for or purchase them if you can.

Sorry again

Try here, http://www.lindertech.com/

I haven't used them before, but have heard good things from other list. Last I heard, $25 for reman'd TBI injectors. He told me that their standard tolerance is 1-3%, but they can go to 0% if needed. Evedently they do whole sets for Indy with 0% tolerance.
Pretty cool.

You must not have talked to them (doug) in a while. Haven't had bigger than 305 sized TBI injectors for quite some time.
