pablo, I am looking for the 081 casting tpi heads that you talked about in your other post. I figure I will try them if I can get them cheap enough. Do you know what years these heads came on? I heard 87 through 92 but I don't know. Are all of the 081 center bolt valve covers? also I have heard something about 80 degrees vs 90 degrees.
I don't know what that is about.

By the way, thanks for the research on the heads on your other post. I always wondered how the LB9 they put in the G92 camaros got 230 HP with 300 # of torq. I thought it was all related to the tpi and the cam. Now maybe I got a chance of getting my LO3 to that level.which would be a lot of fun for
just a few $$$...thqnks again...bob

yes the 081s are centerbolt, and they should be from 87 to 92
