K&N Open Air Element, which one??

Can anybody tell me if I want the drop base model or the flat base model?? And does anyone have any product #'s??

No offense or anything but did you not see the post i wrote on how to do it and what to get its titled detailed open element instructions.
Read that and i would just call summit and tell them what you need.

No offense taken. I dont want to order from summit, if I can get it cheaper here in Canada. By the time I pay the exchange and shipping, and then taxes, it is sometimes cheaper to buy the product up here. I was hoping to get a product # for the 14X3" element so I could order one through my buddies garage. I wasn't sure if the summit # was the same as the product #.

Blue: I read your post. I take it that I need the flat base model then?!? But I would still like to know what the difference is between the drop base and the flat base models?
