OH MAN RICK! That movie was the fu cking best!!!! As for the lid, yeah, u will need to buy a bottom assembly that is 14" in diameter and an element that is 14x3. If it clears? I have no clue. I had a 1" spacer on my open element and it hit and it was a 14x2.25 It won't hit now cause of the hood I got and I just bought a 3" element today. So my guess would to try it out if u don't have a spacer or nothin.

Those exterme lids are really for exterme cars. I guess they would be ok for our cars too but u wouldn't notice anything or get much at all for the 50 bucks u pay for it. But it looks good and every little bits helps right?

A lid threw u a code? Hmmm.. thats really strange, what did u unplug when u installed the lid? Hey, is the lid plastic or what? I thought about getting it then realized it would look kinda funny with my chrome assembly. Chrome bottome with a plastic black lid. know what I mean? Do u have a picture of it on ur engine?

Post some pics on here when u get some. No one on here has gotten that lid from K&N on the board yet. A lot of people probably interested in what it looks like on the engine. I know I am.

unless you have a cowl induction hood, i cant see how you could possible get a noticable power increase from a lid that is less than an inch away from your hood. Im sure it improves flow and all, but i would think that it might also increase turbulance, that is if it is even getting enough air through the top anyway. K&N stopped making them for a while right, then came back out with them just recently, anybody know why? Anybody thought about puttin one on, with a cowl or ram air hood, and just putting a solid ring in place of the aircleaner, that way the only air coming in would come thru the lid, straight down into the motor? ok, im tired and just blabbering now. later

Nic, I wouldn't do that idea even if it did increase performance. I would have the most ridicoulous looking engine on thirdgen. J/K I am thinking about doing the exterme lid thing. Not the idea with just the lid but the whole thing. See what happens.

I deleted them. Funny though. And i dont read anywhere that they are against the rules. I just thought that they werent needed. Now, if it were a reving motor. Cool.
