Oldsmobile Vs. Camaro

My freind has a 1998 oldsmobile intrigue and i have a 1991 Camaro 305 TBI ,i have a K&N air filter, headers, duel exhaust, Splitfire wires and plugs, and throttle body spacer. He brags about how damn fast his car is and that i don't stand a chance and how he whoops Monte carlo SS's and Impala SS's and civics and god knows what else. I should be able to kill him right? (his intrigue is stock) Thanks alot

I think it is safe to say that the 305 if it is in good shape and tuned up good has the Intrigue.

Remember that car has the V6 3800 engine. Its an ancestor engine from the original turbo buicks. The kit to convert those engines to turbo is relatively cheap. Some even came with factory superchargers.

Well my friend claims that it has 240hp stock with no turbo or supercharger. When i looked it up and i found that the car stock is a little over 200hp. and when i tell him that he says i'm stupid and that my info in wrong. Idk hes a retard i think he only thinks its mad fast b/c its the fastest car he has ever owned. i KNOW he CAN NOT take an Impala SS though. Or even a new Monte Carlo SS. those are facts i know

Yep

Its not like its a secret or anything... The thirdgens were mostly slugs, the only ones that actually put up a good fight were the 350tpi's!

But a simple drop in of a newly built 350 will leave him so far behind he will burn his car!

What kind of milage does a 350 TPI get? And what would i have to do to get the engine out of a camaro to put in a 350?

the reason i said that if you havent tuned you dont have chance is because with our speed density systems, most mods will make your car SLOWER if you dont tune the ecm to the new setup, the stock setup can benefit a great deal from a good tune. with tuning on an efi system you will get more power an efficiency out of your bolt ons then a carbureted setup but without tune you will get almost nothing.
