I have a 305 TBI and have called some local mechanics about putting a 350 in my car and they were telling me I would have to get a wiring harness and a lot of other stuff. If I just put a 350 TBI in my car (92 camaro) would I have to get much more than just the engine itself? and in the end would it be more beneficial to get a 350 or just build up the 305? thanx guys

 

Your 305 wire harness is the same. All you will need is some 350 TBI injectors, and a custom PROM to go with the 350 engine. You might also need a 350 TBI knock sensor.

And a higher cfm tb unit along with those injectors like Kevin said.
