The boards have been slow all thru this month.
Your other post was deleted due to it not following the terms of agreement of using the boards.

Sorry there wasnt somebody who could help you with your problem, but you need to calm down.

Next time you need help. The first thing you do is search for keywords.
Go to search and type in vss. You could have solved your problem without ever posting a thing.

Here is the info you could have found.

As for speed....

Headers, there are many companies that make 3rd gen specific headers with or without emmissions tubes.
Rearend gears, you have 2.73 most likely, change to 3.45 or 3.73's
Edelbrock Torquer 2,Performer, Weiand Stealth, single plane. all will work better than stock
1.6 rockers.
Upgrade ignition system. MSD is what the pros use. Jacobs is great but expensive.
Computer chip. to many to list.
Take out your cat if you dont need an emmisions check every year.
Open element air filter.
NOS. gotta be careful
Supercharger. Expensive

There you go... Hope this calms your flame.

In that last reply, I was just trying to get someone to respond. I wasn't trying to make it look as it did. I finally got the vss thing fixed after the 3rd one. now i have to change the driver power window motor. I can't do too much on the performance side of the house until I get back too Oklahoma. Right now I'm stationed in Korea for the Air Force and my wife has to stay in Texas until next June. Then that's when the car will be basically rebuilt. I do have a question for you though. Will any 350 TBI of the same year or later work with the 305 computer? I'm gonna get one when I get to Ok, but need to know if the computer has to come with it or not. This motor will be built up with vortec heads and I'm expecting it to run in the low 14's to high 13's with out too much internal work. Thanks for the infor for the speed parts. It was much needed. Thanks again. I hope I didn't affend anyone. Jason

The computer for the 305 TBI and the 350 TBI is the same (8746) but the chip is different.

I think your biggest problem will a 305/350 swap will be the injectors...swapping to 350 injectors will require another computer chip.

Ok, that sounds reasonable. So would I have to go with a custom burned chip or get mine recalled to work with the 350 injectors? I want to put a better chip in, but I want one that will work at low speeds and not just at WOT. Any advice?
