LT1 cam install.

im going to install an LT1 cam in my RS,is it just like any other roller cam install.
or does anything need to be done??

Axle/Gears: 12-Bolt 3.73
It depends on what year the LT1 cam is from. If it has the long pin on the end, you'll have to change it to the short pin. Either cut it off to the same length as your stock TBI cam, or pull it and change it with the one in your TBI cam.

Do you have the part number??
I was told to go to this site for the specs, but it does not actually say LT1 Cam, it gives you the part numbers.

Duration = smaller

Sorry, didnt mean to ask a stupid question. When I can't line up what I see in charts with info I am receiving from people, I tend to ask the TOO obvious questions, just to clarify. I appreciate the info though.
