Well after taking some time away from this forum/the car I have jumped back into it. The time has finally come to take thigns to the next step since the 305 is officially done and out of the car the decion to finally make an engine purchase is here.

I was looking at 2 crates which are quite a bit different, 12499529 OR 12486041.

From reading etc I have determined that the 1st lower $ one, I should get it up and running half decent wiht the stock 350 ANLU BIN, correct? But with the 12486041 How difficult is that going to get running half decent? I dont want to get into something which takes me another year to get running "ok"...but ideally I want something I can drop in, burn the ANLU bin and start driving it and not have huge drivability problems if you knwo what I mean.

Anyone with the 12486041 have any suggestions regarding if the ANLU bin will get me up and running to the point that I can drive the car, enjoy it a bit, and then optimize the tune over the summer/next year.

Ideas Anyone?
