Actually, if u are thinking of the Ram Air hood, keep in mind that it doesn't come from the company functional. You kinda have to make it urself. It is TONS lighter than the stock one, which saves a lot of weight and u gain some hp that way to the rear wheels, but what I did was I cut the back of the hood and smoothed it out (the part that raises ontop to the winsheild) to make a cowl induction effect with the open element and then I think I am going to have this body shop that has worked on these kinds of hoods before to drill threw to the nostriols so that they empty the air straight into the engine instead off to the side (where normally the stock snorkel from the cleaner would be) its not a tuff job though, just get somebody that is good at cutting fiberglass. Talk to Coolfb@aol.com and he will tell u about it too if u need anymore help. The hoods look sweet on our cars, go ahead and go to my site to see if u want.

There are plent of solid hoods out there!! Not any that come functional without a little love here and there. I like the cowl hoods. I think they look great, sound great, and do help to keep your engine cooler (at speed). Combined with an open element ala carb style is where its at for me. Check out the above site to get some good ideas.

Yeah, Mark I have to agree with you on that one. Makes me wish I needed a new hood!
