Do these TPS readings sound normal?
I suspect that my TPS is going out. So i tested it today. This is what i got...
black/gray: 6.03v
Black and blue(closed throttle):.65v
black and blue(WOT)5.3v
That isnt exctly what they are suposed to be from the looks of some pages that i found searching here but i dot know if anyof those numbers actually tells me anything concrete.

Off the top of my head, they look reasonable. 6 volts is a bit high for the reference. Should be 5 volts. What kind of volt meter are you using?

a crapy old digital multi meter. I just actually found out that closed voltage should be .54 +/-.075 so idle is a litle off. And just to clerify, You cannot adjust a tbi tps correct? I think im going to go pickup a new multimeter and re test before i go out and buy a TPS (although this one does have 215k on it)

Just as long as the readings arent too high, your ok. If it reads high or has dead spots, then its definatly time for a new TPS. Retest with a good DVM and make sure the reference is 5 volts and not 6, which would indicate a problem with the internal regulation in the ECM.
