Right before i pulled the tbi off the car, my car is been running really bad, or not running at all. It would idle really bad and die after 1 min. One time i saw a big flame inside the throttle body and it was on fire for about 5 seconds which got me really scared. After that incident, i've decided to pull the tbi and do the ultimate tbi mods as well as a tune up with all gaskets and orings. I will put the tbi back on tommorrow hoping that the tune up will fix my problem. My question is, due to the fire in the throttle body, does that mean that the car is running rich? or lean? The car dies as if it was starving for fuel, but the injectors were spraying this time, but i'm not sure if they were spraying enough. How can i tell if my injectors are bad and how do i clean them? thanks for any help

If there was a fire in the throttle body it was probably from a lean condition causing a backfire through the intake.
