does anyone here have or know about spiralmax, im not sure if it would work and get good hp gains whats ure guys imput on it the site is- www.spiralmax.com

I wouldn't doubt if it actually caused you to loose horsepower. All it is is a fan that sits in the intake tract. They claim that it causes a vortex or some s*** like that...total crap. First off, it's presence alone is lowering the total possible air-flow through your intake. Secondly, because it is spun by the air rushing past it into your engine that's just more work that your engine has to do to pull air. Total crap.

a vortex before the intake is useless. a vortex helps to increase velocity at the center of a passage. It can be used to help fuel atomize but where there is no fuel like here, all it is doing is causing restriction, and redirection in the form of turbulance. It may be spriraling, but its no helping increase flow or efficiency.

Pablo said it right without explination, IT IS CRAP.

Dont waste your money, if you want improved flow, get an open element with a k&n.
