Ok now what exactly does this mean? I am having this problem. Want to know what the worst it can be and if it is something easy to fix. Thanks guys

 

That's what my 305 was doing and the only explination was a ring gap. That's a big project and usually not worth the money for a rebuild. Most of the guys here will tell you to get a 350 if the 305 is burning oil pretty bad.

do a compersion test , bet ya its really crappy. I know this from my first camaro. your rings are shot.
