my 92 RS 305
I am only 16, and ever since i was 14 i was interested in getting a V8 muscle/sports car. My dad found a camaro and i bought it right on the spot cuz it was good deal. I didnt know alot about engines then and only a little more now. my 305 TBI seems so sluggish compared to a 302 mustang. I want a really fast car but dont have money. Does it feel slow because its a top heavy car. I know headers and exhaust and intakes could change things but i want to be a mustang killer. If somethin doesnt work out i'm gonna have to be a traitor and get a stang. you guys dont want that do ya??
well, your probably gonna get bashed hard for asking this age old question....but it's all good. Heads, intake, cam, full exhaust, open element, posi 3.73's gears, better TBI or possibly carb.....this IMO will do the trick for most mild stangs. Throw the bottle on it for when you hear that opponent "whine" and you'll be a happy dude

Our cars aren't "top heavy".
From your other post it sounds like you might need some work done to your car. You said it at a stop light the idle bounces. How many RPM does it vary(bouce up and down)?

well the LO3 is not a performance engine..hate to break it to you. Save up for a 350 or just build yours up. Start with the exhaust and work your way up.

I don't guess that too bad, depending how how abruptly it does it. If it seems unstable you maybe need a IAC(Idle Air Control) Valve, or you may just need to clean something out.
