Here's pics of my 15x4 non-drop K&N open element, K&N breather and chrome valves covers I put on yesterday. I also took the air diverter off (smog pump itself will come off next weekend). I also removed the heater valve.

Do you have a cowl hood? I have just the three inch tall filter, and it rubs on the insulation bad. How did you manage to get an aircleaner nut on the center post thingy?
Looks good, I like the valve covers.

It looks awesome! What is with the 16.5 ET? I ran a 15.86 @ like 85 MPH with mine, and all I have is a paper open element and Ultra Flow Muffler (not cat-back). I am at sea level, but have 118,000 miles.

Yup, I have a 2 1/4" cowl hood.
The air cleaner stud is from a truck TBI.
Yea, the covers look kewl, the passenger one was a PITA.
The heater valve was removed and vacuum line plugged. I ran a small about 7 inch hose from the intake manifold to the heater core on the top of the firewall. The lower heater line that runs along side the passenger exhaust manifold I removed and capped it off with one of those "HELP" caps that in the cooling section at Autozone. The heater works fine.
As for the 16.5, that was my first and only time at a dragstrip (Thunder Valley in OK). I made about 4 passes and on not one did I hook up good, too much spin. I have BFG 255/60's back even. I plan on going again sometime in june to see if I can get a better time.
Only problem I have now is that when I removed the Air Diverter, I now get a check engine light. Anyone know of any shills for the sensors?
