TBI car died

Car: '90 Trans Am-12.45@110.71
Engine: 355 w/AFR 195's Elem. 400/430 HP/TQ
Transmission: Tremec T-56
Axle/Gears: 12 Bolt 3.73
TBI car died
Problem: It would start up then die again.
Finally it would not start at all.
After fully checking everything I could think of (no injector pulse), I started pouring a little bit of gas down the TBI, wella, it would run.
Solution: I changed the ignition module, bingo, it runs again.
I was under the impression it fired the ign. it would pulse the injectors, I guess not!!!
