2 inch Edelbrock TBI Intake?

Hey I just wanted to ask if anyone else knows if Edelbrock made all tbi intakes with the 2 inch bores. I bought one off someone out of the box, but never installed, and now that I compare my stock tbi and new gaskets, the intake has 2 inch bores. Is this supposed to be like that? From what I read on the website it says the stock tbi with 1 11/16 bores should be used. It doesn't look like there was any work done to the intake.

Any help from others who have purchased this intake would be great.

All the new Edelbrock intakes have the smaller 1 11/16" bores. However I have read of a few posts on this board where people have seen or even owned older Edelbrock TBI intakes with 2" bores. I'd say whoever you bought that intake from bought it years ago.

I've never heard of a 2" edelbrock TBI intake but I'm not saying it isn't possible. I only know of one 2" bore TBI intake and that's from holley.

I recommend getting a square bore carb intake and using the holley adaptor plate:

Well I looked at it again and it seems to be like that from the factory. The bores are smooth on the sides, and the top edge has a very small additional cut, somewhat like the ridge cut in the thermostat bore. It seems to be a smaller step machined into it.
It also has a small bump where the bore gets close to the TBI mounting bolt, but this is still rough from the casting. There is no smooth machining on it, and it stick out into the bore.
If you look at yours JokerRS do you have the same 'step' cut in the outer edge of the bores?
I guess now I will just do the upgrade to the larger TBI since it will fit. Anyone have
one for sale cheap? Any recommendations?
