Open Air Cleaner Prob.

Last time im going to bother you guys about this. Have a 92 RS 305 TBI . When i have the open air cleaner on it is fast off the line. I can tell a big diff from factory air cleaner. But when i have the open cleaner on and im going down the road and want to get on it the rpm's go up real slow and it dont really go anywhere. With the factory air cleaner on it is slower off the line but when im going and get on it the rpms jump right up and it gets on it. I need to find something that will do both. Will dual snorkel work? Im not going to up my fuel press or any of that stuff. Give me some ideas.. thanks

track tests are the only way to know. i think many of our observations are flawed of what is actually happening. i think the sound throws a lot of people off. it doesnt sound like the engine is revving up fast at higher rpms with an oe. but its most likely the same as stock you just couldnt hear it that slow with stock. i dont know.
