ok here is the problem again.. when i am driving down the road the tack in my 90 305 TBI will jump causing my engine to jump or vise versa i am not sure.. any way it will go as far as to stall sometimes.
I have replaced the coil picup... checked the timing ... and i am not sure where to go now...
the thing that really pisses me off is it will not do it for hours then it will **** on me for about 10-20 min then be fine the rest of the day .. others it will do it all day... i love my car and am in need of some help .. i DONT WANT TO SELL IT!

This same thing happened to me a month ago. I had a few spark plug wires go bad. The signal from the burned up ones made my tach bounce and the car surged. I bought plug wires $56.99 and Ac delco plugs (splitfires didn't even fire). This fixed the problem. make sure you reroute the wires so they don't get burned again.
