350 chip

I got a 1995 350 chip from a truck with TBI. When I put in a 350,how will this chip act being in an F-body coputer?

Hello, That 95 truck has a pcm which also controls the 4l60E if it is an automatic and i think the chip is a 27c512.

That eprom won't work with the f-body ecm. If you have TBI than you probably have an 8746 ecm (89-92) but the 7747 trucks are very similar. The only difference is the 8746 has an intake air temp sensor. When you do get a 350 you will definatly need a new chip, probably something like a cop car (89 caprice) and boast the fuel pressure if you use 55 injectors. If you use 65, cop car chip, and mild 350 it should run pretty good.

I put the chip in but it seemed to be putting to much fuel in it.The motor would run fine idleing and cruiesing but once you hit it, it would flood and almost kill the engine.
