Can anyone here explain what all is going to be involved if I put a 350 carbeurated from a 78 firebird into my 88 camaro (which had a 305 TBI). I want to take the TBI off of the old 305 and put it on the 350. I don't have a lot of knowledge when it comes to fuel injection. Also I know this doesn't go along with this form but will my automatic tranny bolt up to this 350? and can it take the extra hp, I don't plan on racing. Thanks in advance.

 

Hey dude. It can be done,but it would be alot easier if the 350 was from made after 87.The intake pattern is diffenert from the TBI bolt pattern and your flex plate has to be changed out.The 350 trans. will hold up so no worry there,and that block has no places for any sensors.All of these things can be done with a little effort, but those are the basics.
