Good Cam for 305 TBI?

Im going to be buying a set of heads, an eldebrock intake and a cam. Whats a good cam for these engines. Also if i but an eldebrock intake on to i need an adapter so the tbi would fit. If so i would appreciate part #s.

If money is something that you need to save on, try for a LT1 camshaft. It's cheap, reliable, and provides a good boost in power.

I just put on an edelbrock intake on my 305 TBI this weekend, along with a cam. Edelbrock makes a performer intake just for sbc TBI, try www.jegs.com, it costs $208 and you can get it delivered next day. The cam question is one i am still wondering on, cuz i aint happy with my compucam, maybe I'll try an LT1 instead, also it takes nearly a full day to do this swap, and a little extra advise that will save hours on putting it all back together is when you loosen the oil pan bolts to remove the timing chain cover, dont just loosen them, remove then instead, all but the very back ones, trust me, it'll save hours later
