Car still running bad....PLEASE HELP!
Ok so i replaced my TPS because when i unplugged it it ran perfect, well whenever it's plugged in, both the new and old TPS make it run crappy, when unplugged, runs perfect but check engine light's on. With either of them in , it's off. It Idles high and jumps around at a idle from around 1000 to 2000 and stays at 2000 sometimes if it feels like it, and this is warmed up. With the TPS plugged in it also stalls out and runs aweful. I was thinking could my IAC be bad even with no check engine light? Anything else I should know about that could be causing this?
When I plug in the tps and reset the computer and run a scan, it finds that everything is working perfect, both with my chip reader and the mechanics shop i went to.
I replaced the fuel filter and the gas is brand new.
BTW: I just installed all new gaskets and injectors in my tbi unit and it's still running exactly the same which makes me feel as if i wasted my money
Also what is the order on the dist. cap. I'm just wondereing for further removal.
Any help is greatly appreciated because I just got my car registered and now it's not running right so i can't even drive her...:-(

It definatly could be the IAC from the sound of it. It certainly couldn't hurt to replace it. The ECM wont set a code with a bad IAC. Only the later computers set a code if the counts zeros out or the closed loop idle terms wind up.
