Hey guys, I am in the market for a new air cleaner and was wondering what you all think of this one. My car is bone stock except for some flows. 91 rs. I was also curious as to if i need the flat based model which i am assuming is non drop. or the recessed model. Thank you for all the help in advance.

Are you going to do the open element mod? Im using a 14x2 drop base and its fine. Might even go for a taller filter in the future. Clears the hood better than the stock crap, and didnt touch any wires. That ebay item is expensive. And i think(not sure) that 4" tall is too much.

 

i wanna go 14"x3" non drop and remove the spacer ring. heard that drop base may touch coils. 3" should fit under the hood
