i have mental issues !!!!!!!!!
well, since i have been having so many problems with my car i have been spending a lot of time driving my beater1984 cavalier(BROWNY). for some reason i have found my mind figuring ways to get more power out of the little 2.0liter tbi motor that motivates the slug.
so i went to the track and ripped the quarter mile in a blindingly quick 19.922@67.64mph. WOW!!!!!
then i went home and decided that 2.5 years was long enough between tune ups and tore into the car, replacing at lest $35 worth of old plugs/wires/ cap and rotor/ and an oil change.
so i went back to the track, knowing that there was even more power to display to my friends(most of whom could not stop laughing long enough to see me run
). then i hit the gas and ripped otu of the hole with an amazing 2.74 60ft time, the g forces were incredable. then roaring down the track at a new best of 19.834@67.48mph in weather that was 15 degrees hotter than the first time i went to the track.
both trips to the track the car weighed in at 2600lbs with a very full tank of gas. now it is time to get serious. i will do a diet, mess with the tune up, ultimate tbi mods, and even go to the extreme of checking the air pressure in all 4 tires. every expense will be spared to get this project rolling.
soon i will be scaring every honda guy on the streets and running in the 18's. HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!! feel the wrath of the tbi monster!!!!!!!!
i will keep you all up to date on the kills i cna generate with this beastly machine.

We've got to have a beater car shootout.
Your 84 Cavalier vs. my 84 VW GTI. The street legal drags will start at a local track in September, I'll have to have someone drive my GTI there so I can race both it and the Camaro.
