Sure can. I've seen them turbo'd and also positive displacement types used. Now another fellows car is getting a ProCharger.

Uhh...yeah 
To answer the original question...yes it is possible here's a pic of mine. I got the Weiand 142 for $1100 on a consignment deal at my local speed shop. Previously own but never installed. My car was originally a CC quadrajet so I had to "invent" alot of things. Well worth it.

I think I'll do the TPI swap and then use the two superchargers on top of the valve covers deal some time, heck I got one supercharger laying around, need one more

Sorry for the shameless plug but I currently have a Vortech SBC TBI Supercharger for sale...its pretty much ALL brand new and almost entirely complete. I will take any reasonable offer above 1500.00.
