Was there ever any caprice with a 350 that had the 7747 computer? Or will any 350 (TBI) caprice chip work in this computer?
Or is there a truck chip with a 350 that will work? (last piece in my 350 swap needed. Will ventually get custom chip but want to know this info 4 now.

Which computer? If you mean your 88's ECM, then no.

None that will work with your ECM.
The easiest thing to do is get a 90-92 Camaro TBI ECM (1228746). Then get the '90 Caprice 350 PROM.
Do some searchs on this board and the DIY PROM board for: 8063, 747 and 8746.
BTW, the wiring change is not nessesary to swap in 8746.
Don't waste your money on a custom chip. Get the prom burning stuff.
