IAC, TPS, QUESTION???

My '88 TBI is having start up and idle difficulties. I have to give it some gas when i first crank it up for about a minute or it will die. I think it may have an IAC or TPS sensor problem. I know pretty much where these are located but I won't to be positive, also how would you check them and how much would it cost to completely replace them? Sorry for the juvenile car question, but hey we gotta start somewhere.

The IAC and TPS are around $35 each.

I replaced mine for 37 each (auto zone). And 20 bucks for the little guy in the air cleaner.
