hey guys..
Im looking at a 91 t/a with the 305tbi motor... my question is what are the stock specs (hp,tq, 1/4,0-60) The price is right (1400)but the mileage is kinda high.. (170,000) so im getting some info. How long could i expect this motor to last? all freeway miles. TIA

I got 15800 on a 89 RS, and it is still running fine. Yeah I had to put a few bucks in to it, but other then stuff just "Broke" it is doing fine. But my only question is Did T/As come with a TBI. I thought they were the flagship of Pontiac, meaning TPI? Make sure you ask to take it to a shop you know to have it looked at. GL

Ok, thanks for that info..yea it says t/a etc all over the body and the rpo code is LO3! i didnt know t/a's came with tbi either, but personally id like another challenge, and a v8 this time, so id like to stick with tbi.

Does the rear wing wrap around? Base "aero" Firebirds looked exactly the same externaly as TAs except for the wing, taillights, and maybe the rims. Does it have 16s?

I knkow that the base model engine in the Z28 for that year is the LO3.You had to option up to a 305 or 350 TPI. It would not suprise me fi the same thing is true for the TA.
