ok i think ive decided on the preformer elderbrock setup....with a lt1 cam....and stuff....as far as the cam does with i need to do any rocker work? srpings...new?
and what lt1 cam will i need....lift and stuff? i was planning on goin with a double roller timing chain...is that over board for my engine...alos with my tbi elderbrock intake....will and headers...will i need a fuel system upgrade...explain.....and i know i'll need a chip

The best lt1 cam was made in the newer years
96,97 and with that cam swap you wiil also ned a set of new springs. Just a little info for you.

How much does the LT series of cams help an LO3 without changing the heads? I have a good breather setup and headers with a 3" exhaust system. I have an LT4 cam that I can install and was wondering if it made any differance without changing or porting the stock heads?
