Running Rich
Hey i have a 92rs just replaced the motor still 305TBI,K&N,Helix power tower(tbi spacer),flowmasters,no cat(piped over),street&performance elec. chip,open element air cleaner,removed hood seals.
my question is what could be making my car run rich i can smell it in the exaust and how can i fix it, also my SES light comes on but i don't have a code reader thing. can ya help me out

After I installed my headers my car would stall at idle a lot and I'd get no pull to 2200+ RPM's...and my air/fuel gauge wasn't working. And I could smell fuel in my exhaust. And my gas mileage blew.
And I had a code 13!
My O2 sensor was broke.
I dunno if that's your problem, but it was mine.

i've heard it might have something to do with our MAF or just ECM problem
