Firebirds haven't had a Ponitac engine since 1981. Try again.

You can put the oil through the pcv valve hole. If you want some nice covers with a hole for oil, check out the moroso centerbolt valve covers. They are very shiny, and are machined inside to allow for larger roller rockers. It's around page 172 in Jeg's catalog if I remember correctly.

I saw these adapters somewhere that allows you to use perimeter bolt valve covers on center bolt heads. I think GM makes them actually. I believe their in the Jim Pace Parts catalog.

I have the Elite Series valve covers on my engine, and they look pretty sweet. Their the centerbolt type. I replaced the aircleaner with the triangular Elite series one and they look awesome together. I had to remove that breather pipe from the passenger side cover, so I just put a Elite breather in, and put the PCV valve back in the drivers side. I fill the oil in the PCV hole. Funnel required.

I have an engine pic on my website if you'd like to see it. http://www.theduke.cz28.com/photo.html

The engine pick is towards the bottom of the page.
