Hey DM, I was just wondering what change that LT4 made to your cars sound? I have Edelbrock headers and a flowmaster cat-back, so the sound difference should be similar.

It's sounds different, not sure how to explain it. Deeper and more like a V8 should sound like. More like a 350 than a 305. Most people think that it's a 350 until I tell them it's a 305. Install an Lt1 it's cheaper and only has a little less duration,if you can get one cheap as everyone says that you can. I bought the LT4 for $136 before the popular thing to do was to buy a used LT1. The cam probably costs the same now at Jim Pace parts. Cheap for a new roller. Good luck.
