LT1 Cam power improvement?

I have a 305TBI right now. Pretty much Stock. I have flowmaster exaust, and open element. Would an LT1 cam make a big Seat of the pants difference? How about the cam and intake manifold at the same time, whats would I see as far as HP and Torque?
THanks alot guys

Hey this is a legit question coming from me. Does the LT1 cam give you a noticeable gain? I will probably be getting somewhere around $200 for my birthday and I wanna spend it on my car, and I am considering buying an LT1 cam with some of the money. So how big of a gain will I notice?

Also I will probably get an eldelbrock performer TBI intake, dynomax headers, and an exhaust, with whats left of my birthday money and christmas, do you think those parts will make a good combo in a 305?

Yes the LT1 cam in a TBI is a good worthwhile mod, you will feel the difference.

my response is more to the point of murph asking the same question in 3 different threads in one day and then telling all kinds of lies about how much work he has done to the car and then saying he is selling the car and has a new car and then asking this very question that he asked several times a few months ago. he is just the kind of person many of us were glad has been away from the board for a while.
the LT1 cam is a huge improvement over stock and a big difference will be felt.

later
