Can I run 8 MPFI injectors with a 7747?

Please help! I thought they were Magnetti Marelli Injectors but now I think they may be Webers???? Funky "W" on them.

16 ohms resitance, so they must be OF THE "saturated" type. Can I use 8 of these with the 2 Peak and Hold drivers of the 7747 ecu? Will P+H drivers mess them up as they are saturated-use injectors? Soooo many questions.

I'm curious as to why you want to use the 7747. Kinda like using a pliers to pound in a nail.

The 7730 is a no brainer to run 8 saturated injectors. It also has the proper batch firing scheme.

Because I got one and use several on other vehicles/motors I own or test on. a 7747 PRocessor is plenty fast, it's the data stream that sucks...

Need/want to use a 7747... HELP??? I need answers??!!

That won't be a problem. The problem is that I am not using the injetors they are using, which I now believe are P+H's. They are MUCH smaller (ie shorter, not as fat) than the ones I got...

Yeah, they are Pico injectors. What the heck does that mean, anyway???

Are they P+H or SATURATED??? Gotta be saturated with 16 ohms of resistance, I guess...

I would assume that the P+H drivers wouldn't work with these injectors BUT since you are using too many injectors, maybe the injectors feel like they are getting a saturated-type input and will work ok???

HELP, GhoSST?!?!?!??!?!?!

Why are they so big in the body area????

I mainly wonder if I buy a Weaind MPFI-ready manifold for Vortec heads and their associated rail/regulator kit, WILL THESE PICO INJECTORS INSTALL CORRECTLY????????

I don't think so. Picos are tiny. But I could be wrong. GhoSSt had some comparison pics. Do a search to pull them up so you can see for yourself.

The ones I have are off my Edelbrock ProFlo RPM system. FAT mothers. Look in a Summit catalog at the ProFlo RPM picture. You'll see how fat they are. Maybe no bigger than the Holley injectors, though... They have a tapered rubber tip thingy on them, too, which is odd. O-ring, too, of course.

The pro flow uses traditional injectors on a Victor type intake. The edelbrock multi port conversion for TBI vehicles uses pico injectors on a torker2 type intake.

from what i have read. picos are just different in size. so that you can fit them in tighter places. but im not an expert on this.

Aaah. So mine ARE NOT Pico injectors... I thought I read somewhere that they were... oops. Mine look like the big ones in your pix but there is a tapered rubber piece (seat?) below the bottom O-ring.

Anyway, I wonder if the Picos and the big ones have the same electrical characteristics, ie, current/pulse width needs/resistance/etc????????

I have yet to call in my favors from Edelbrok. Getting close, though...
