How much of an increase do the Ultimate TBI mods really make? I don't mean the non-drop air cleaner, how much will all the customizing on the TBI make? 10, 15 hp? I'm considering doing this over the winter, if it's worth the work.
Thanks!

I dont think anyone has dynoed a before and after

the best dyno is the track though and i know a few people have done before and afters

why not do a before and after and let us know? it only takes a short amount of time to do it

yes, be the first for us.

But, i think we can all say for a fact, that it doesnt hurt anything, and anything that helps a little is worth it.

Hey and look at it this way, you get to play with a dremel, and anything with any sort of powertools is fun.

I guess I'll have to try it then. I've been looking at the TBI unit and have come up with a few more mods. If they help out, then I'll post them on my website, but that won't be until spring obviously with all the tracks closed. Thanks guys.
BTW, how high should you raise the injector pod? How many gaskets is it?

from what Ive been told.
it depends on your injectors.
just raise it until the spray hits like a 1/16 of an inch above the blades.

i think its just one other injector spacer.
dont quote me though

I like the air powered disc grinder myself. I used that to rip the ridges off the bores and radius the edges. After that it was all dremel and Mothers polishing compound.

You can see the FMGasket picture. This is where I made a "spacer" by RTV-ing two fuel metering gaskets to each other, instead of buying a phenolic spacer for $30.

be aware that you can see my Mustang in one of those pictures! Just wanted to warn you since this is an F-Body site
